What is the Lead Time for a Hiker Trailer?
At Hiker Trailers we have a dynamic lead time based upon the type of trailer you purchase.
Custom Units
For our fully customized builds, our lead time is approximately 60 - 90 days from the time you place your deposit. Factors that could affect the timeliness of your build include the complexity of the build, custom off-menu options, or the timeliness of completing required paperwork and confirmations.
Ready-Built Units
For a ready-built unit that is in stock, the lead time can be as little as a few days. All we require to purchase a Hiker Trailer is payment, and a little bit of paperwork to provide you with the necessary VIN, MSO, and BOS, allowing you to register your new camper. If you desire add-ons or customizations to your ready-built Hiker Trailer, the lead time for that type of service work is about 2 weeks.
Mainstay
Our Mainstay model is the first ever stand up version of a Hiker Trailer and it's production differs quite a bit from our normal classic models. The lead time for a Mainstay is approximately 4 months from the time of placing your deposit.
